About the Speakers: 

Christine Baran is a partner in the firm’s Irvine office where her practice is devoted to defending employment related disputes on behalf of companies and its management team. Christine’s diverse practice includes litigating cases involving discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour claims (both individual and collective actions), unfair business practices, whistleblower claims, workplace violence and wrongful discharge. She represents employers in both state and federal court as well as before state and federal agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE).

Spencer Waldron is a partner in the firm’s Irvine office whose practice is also dedicated to litigating employment disputes before state agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing as well as California state and federal courts. Spencer has special experience in the areas of wage and hour laws, employee compensation plans, laws regulating drug testing and background checks, and harassment/discrimination claims.  He has defended employers in numerous multi-plaintiff cases and class-action cases, including wage and hour claims, claims brought under the California Labor Code Private Attorneys General Act of 2004 (PAGA), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
